Sell access to your AI models on OpenMayhem

Repository ↗

If you run a model, or have one you are allowed to resell, you can sell it here. A coding agent such as Claude Code can do the setup for you.

  • $10You pay a one-time admission fee of $10 the first time you open or join a proxied market. You can pay it in TNK, USD or TAP.
  • $0Every later market is free for the same seller, so adding another model costs nothing.
  • 1 hSales are settled every hour.

Let your coding agent set it up

Fill in the form and copy the prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or opencode. The agent installs OpenMayhem from our GitHub repository and connects your model. It asks you before it pays for anything or publishes your listing.

My model server:
- OpenAI-compatible base URL: https://api.example.com/v1
- Model ID on that server: my-model
- API key: ask me for the path of the file that holds it. Never print the key and never put it in a command argument.
- Ask me which tokenizer.json matches this model. It is used only to measure speed. Do not download one without asking.

What to sell:
- Family: find the right family for this model in the wizard. Join the existing market for this exact model if there is one, and open a new market only if none matches.
- My price: $1.50 per 1M input tokens and $6.00 per 1M output tokens.
- Accept payment in: Card in USD, TNK.

Steps:
1. Install OpenMayhem Core for my operating system, the complete package including mayhem-proxy-worker, and run `mayhem up` so Core keeps running.
2. Create a setup for this model with `mayhem provider proxy setup init --name my-model` and fill in the wizard with the values above. Every model I sell gets its own named setup.
3. Send one short test request to my model.
4. If this seller has never opened or joined a proxied market, the one-time $10 admission fee is due. Pay it with TNK: show me the invoice with the amount and the receiver, wait while I pay, and then confirm the payment from the invoice status. If I am already admitted, skip this step.
5. Show me the listing review and publish only after I say yes.
6. Register payments and set up my payouts: Stripe with `mayhem provider stripe onboard` and TNK with `mayhem provider payout set --rail tnk --submit`.
7. Start the managed seller process so Core keeps my offer live, then show me my market on https://openmayhem.ai/models.

Ask me before anything that costs money or publishes. Explain each step in one sentence. If something fails, stop and tell me in plain words.

What happens during setup

  1. 1InstallThe agent installs OpenMayhem Core from GitHub. Core keeps running afterwards and stops sending you buyers while your server is down or busy.
  2. 2ConnectIt connects to your server with your address, model name and key file, then sends one short test request.
  3. 3Join a marketIt joins the market for your model, or opens one if nobody sells that model yet.
  4. 4PublishYou check the listing before it goes live. The agent then publishes it and sets up your payouts.

Paying the admission fee with TNK

TNK is the coin of Trac Network, which OpenMayhem runs on. You need it only if you choose to pay the fee in TNK, and the invoice shows the exact amount.

You can also pay the fee by card in USD or with TAP on Ethereum. The fee is separate from the credit you use to buy requests.

Where to get TNK

  1. Buy TNK on Gate or MEXC. Both exchanges list it against USDT.
  2. After the install, your agent shows you your Trac address, which starts with trac1.
  3. Withdraw the TNK from the exchange to that address on Trac Network mainnet.
  4. Send the amount on the invoice to the address on the invoice. Your agent checks that the payment arrived.

If buyers pay you in TNK, your earnings go to the same address.

Making changes later

You can ask your agent for changes in plain words. If you prefer to run the commands yourself, open the command under each example.

Changing your price

A new price applies to new requests, and requests that were already accepted keep their price. Changing the price is free. In the wizard, e reviews the new rates and z publishes them.

Tell your agent: Change my OpenMayhem price to $1.40 per 1M input tokens and $5.50 per 1M output tokens.

Command
mayhem provider proxy setup wizard --name my-model

Selling another model

Each model gets its own named setup with its own listing and price. One seller can run several setups at the same time.

Tell your agent: Also sell my second model from the same server at $4 in and $20 out per 1M tokens.

Command
mayhem provider proxy setup init --name my-second-model
mayhem provider proxy setup list

Markets and families

Every model has its own market, and markets are grouped into families such as GPT or Claude. OpenMayhem decides which families exist, and sellers open markets inside them. In the wizard, d lists the markets and s selects one with your price.

Tell your agent: Show me the markets in the GPT family and join the one for my model.

Command
mayhem provider proxy setup wizard --name my-model

Payment options

Buyers can pay by card in USD, in TNK or in TAP. The more options you accept, the more buyers can use your offer.

Tell your agent: Also accept TAP and set up my TAP payout.

Command
mayhem provider payout set --rail tap --submit
mayhem provider stripe onboard --country DE

Earnings

You can see your sales, the amount on hold and what has been paid out for each payment type.

Tell your agent: How much did I earn on OpenMayhem this week?

Command
mayhem provider earnings

Pausing

When your server is down or full, Core stops sending you requests by itself. To stop selling on purpose, stop the managed seller process. In the wizard, h shows the state of that process.

Tell your agent: Pause my OpenMayhem listing until Monday.

Command
mayhem provider proxy setup wizard --name my-model

Selling on OpenMayhem

Buyers see who you are

Each market lists its sellers with their price, speed and share of sales. Verified businesses are marked T4.

One set of buyers

People who buy through the API, through AI apps that use MCP and in Chat all buy from the same markets.

What buyers are told

Proxied markets carry the note "Model declared by sellers, not checked by OpenMayhem". Requests to a proxied market never go to native sellers, and a request keeps the price it was accepted at.

Rules in the open

The marketplace rules and the payment contract are public, so you can read how sales are checked and settled.

OpenMayhem is open source

The repository has the install scripts, SKILL.md for coding agents, the seller setup guides and the release notes.

For experts

This section covers the same steps with the exact commands, for anyone who wants to do the setup by hand.

Manual install

Clone the repository, check out the release tag and run the installer. Selling a proxied model needs the complete package, with mayhem, mayhemd, mayhem-gateway and mayhem-proxy-worker in the same folder. To update, run the installer again for the new tag.

shell
git clone https://github.com/Trac-Systems/openmayhem.git
cd openmayhem
git checkout --detach v0.2.273
./install.sh --from-source
mayhem up
Seller setup wizard

Each setup has its own name, so one seller can sell several models. The wizard saves your progress, and you can resume it at any time. The same wizard runs in the local provider dashboard, which you start with mayhem use --proxy-setup.

shell
mayhem provider proxy setup init --name my-model \
  --tokenizer-file "$TOKENIZER_FILE" --admission-origin "$ADMISSION_ORIGIN"
mayhem provider proxy setup list
mayhem provider proxy setup wizard --name my-model
KeyAction
c · d · sConnect to your server, list its models and choose one with its price
k · pCheck the setup, then send a test request within the limit you set
a · i · t · fLook up your admission status, create the fee invoice, check whether it is paid, or pay by card
v · uReview the listing, then sign and publish it
e · zEnter new prices and publish them
g · b · hReview the seller process, start it under mayhemd and check its state
r · oPick up an interrupted test or publication without paying again
Payment registration and payouts

Paying the fee and publishing do not set up payouts. Buyers are sent to you only after at least one of your payment options has a verified payout account.

shell
mayhem provider proxy setup payment-registration --name my-model --expected-revision N --keypair "$KEYPAIR"
mayhem provider proxy setup payment-registration --name my-model --expected-revision N --keypair "$KEYPAIR" --submit --accept-rules-hash <hash>
mayhem provider payout set --rail tnk --submit
mayhem provider stripe onboard --country DE
Tokenizer, test requests and limits

Chat models need a local tokenizer.json that matches your model. It is used to measure speed and has nothing to do with billing, and decision models do not need one. You set a budget for test requests once, and later tests can only use what is left of it. The concurrency setting says how many requests your server can take at the same time.

Endpoints you can sell

You can sell OpenAI chat completions, completions and responses, and OpenMayhem decisions. Servers with their own API can use a reviewed connector recipe. Images, video and audio can only be sold natively.
